Police offer £20,000 reward in search for man wanted over the murder of Finbar Sullivan

Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of Finbar Sullivan in Primrose Hill have offered a £20,000 reward for information leading them to a man they urgently wish to trace.

Officers are appealing directly to Jordan Asije, 22, or anyone who has information about his whereabouts, to come forward. An image of Jordan, who is known to frequent north London, has also been released.

Since Finbar’s death, detectives have carried out an extensive investigation to identify those believed to be involved. Three men have already been charged with murder and another man has been charged with grievous bodily harm. They have all been remanded into custody.

Detective Inspector Andy Griffin, who is leading the investigation, said: “My thoughts remain with Finbar’s family following their truly devastating loss. We have made significant progress in understanding the events that led to his tragic death and our enquiries continue.

“As part of this work, a reward of up to £20,000 is now being offered to encourage the public to help us arrest everyone we believe was involved in the murder. No piece of information is too small and what may appear insignificant to you, could prove vital to our enquiries.

“Jordan, if you are reading this, I urge you to do the right thing and hand yourself in at the nearest police station. I also want to make it clear that anyone knowingly assisting Jordan to evade arrest, or harbouring him, may be committing a criminal offence and can expect to be investigated and dealt with robustly.”

While Jordan is not believed to pose a wider threat to the public, he should not be approached. Anyone who sees him should call police immediately on 999. Finbar, aged 21, was killed on Tuesday, 7 April 2026.

Officers were called at 18:41hrs to reports of a fight at the view point in Primrose Hill. Upon arrival, police and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service found Finbar with multiple stab wounds. Despite the best efforts of emergency services, he died at the scene.

His next-of-kin continue to be supported by specialist officers.

Another man in his 20s also suffered injuries, that were neither life-threatening nor life changing.
